Hardik Pandya is likely to miss the next two or three matches against England, Sri Lanka and South Africa due to a suspected Grade 1 ligament tear in his ankle. and his also continues to recover from the ankle injury. Hardik Pandya has slight ligament damage. he will give undergo a fitness test on Thursday before the BCCI medical team decides on his return date".

Indian star all-rounder will only be available for the last two or one World Cup league games against South Africa, on November 5, and Netherlands, on November 11 in Bengaluru.

Team India vice-captain Hardik Pandya sustained an injury to his left ankle while fielding on his own bowling during India’s match against Bangladesh at the MCA Stadium, Pune on 19th October. The Hardik Pandya was taken for scans and is advised rest under the constant supervision of the BCCI Medical Team,” BCCI secretary Jay Shah had said in its statement.

According to The Indian Express"Hardik Pandya hasn’t start to bowl after he had injured his ankle during against Bangladesh match held in Pune last week. The BCCI medical team will wait for a few more days to recover at the NCA (National Cricket Academy) in Bangalore.  and expected to join the Indian team in Mumbai or Kolkata.

The Indian team management doesn’t want to take any risk and gave full time to completely fit for the last two games or knockout games.
